ABOUT THE OSTRICH FARM

When I first started to build this website it was intended only to display some of my paintings and to hopefully sell some prints. November 6th and 7th interrupted the flow of my work with an unimaginable event that shook me to the core. I’d been following the story for months but I was not prepared to face the sinister and malevolent reality of what had just occurred. And so, I’ve felt compelled to add this page to my site hoping to help expose the truth, according to the farmers and the many witnesses that were there to support them, to help keep this story alive, at least until justice is served . . .

The predators who are responsible for terrorizing a family farm and a neighboring farm in Edgewood BC, Canada, for a good portion of 2025, include: Canadian government officials, the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency), judges, the RCMP and others. This is about the needless and inhumane slaughter of approximately 300 ostriches. And then there’s the invasion and destruction of private property, the disrespect, the cruelty, the trauma, the hefty legal costs, the loss of the farmer’s livelihood with no compensation because they “would not comply,” . . . on and on. It’s not only the farmers who were traumatized by the whole debacle, most anyone who has paid close attention to this story, is still feeling deeply disturbed by what had taken place and in some respects, it continues on.

Apparently, the CFIA has perpetrated similar incidents involving other farms throughout Canada, for decades!!! The arguments that their actions are justified, are weak and would not likely stand up to scrutiny (as perhaps the upcoming investigative documentary by Rebel News may prove).

These healthy ostriches, most of which were 20 - 35 years old (and can live to 75 years) had not been raised for food consumption for a few years. These prehistoric ratite birds were being used for scientific research to study the antibodies of their most robust immune systems. It was the use of their eggs that could potentially REPLACE VACCINES for particular diseases, among other things, in a TRULY natural, safe and effective way. . .  I smell big bureaucratic and pharmaceutical rats lurking in the shadows.

None of the slain and tortured birds had ever been tested. Proper testing of blood and tissue samples of the ostriches for the alleged bird flu, was forbidden by the CFIA, and if anyone attempted to do so, they would be issued a $200,000.00 fine along with a six month jail sentence. Why? Especially when there were people who offered to pay for the testing.

There are so many details and layers to this story. I’ve posted links below for those who may be interested in learning more and I’m sure there will be much more to come.  United we stand.

This was an international incident. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. himself had offered to take custody of the birds, telling the Canadian government they had SIGNIFICANT MEDICAL RESEARCH VALUE. Yet Carney’s gunmen massacred hundreds of perfectly healthy birds and neither the RCMP nor the federal bureaucracy will answer a single question.  (excerpt from Rebel News - link below)

“Katie Pasitney was courageously fighting to protect her beloved ostriches at Universal Ostrich Farms, from being unjustly culled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). This troubling scenario echoes the events of 2005-2006, when government officials wrongly accused healthy backyard flocks and migratory birds of spreading H5N1, diverting attention from the true source: the unsanitary conditions prevalent in factory farms, notably those in Fraser Valley. This current attack on Universal Ostrich Farm, represents a troubling effort to intimidate and dismantle small, family-owned farms. It is imperative we recognize and preserve these farms, which form the resilient backbone of our nation, rather than allowing them to be unjustly targeted and destroyed. I stand firmly with Katie Pasitney and call upon everyone who values sustainable, ethical, and family-operated agriculture to support her crucial battle."

"The Canadian government’s narrative on COVID-19 vaccines and ostrich farming at Universal Ostrich Farm appears to prioritize policy over scientific evidence. The synthetic plasmid DNA and SV40 nuclear localisation sequences in the COVID-19 vaccines eliminate the “safe and effective” mantra and highlight undisclosed health risks like cancer. In contrast, IgY in ostrich eggs, analogous to human IgG, is a naturally occurring antibody that provides passive immunity with potential therapeutic benefits and no known health risks. Compared to chicken eggs, ostrich eggs yield more IgY per egg (up to 4000 mg vs. 100–250 mg), making them valuable for large-scale production of specific antibodies for diagnostics and therapeutics, owing to their non-invasive extraction and lack of cross-reactivity with mammalian proteins. These ostrich-derived IgY antibodies show promise in combating avian influenza, and enhancing Canada’s food security."

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart.”

Helen Keller

THE OSTRICH represents the ability to thrive in difficult environments and overcome challenges with courage and grounded awareness. It symbolizes resilience, adaptability, inner and outward strength. In some Christian monastic traditions, the ostrich is seen as a symbol of moving forward toward perfection, never looking back at past mistakes. In ancient Egypt, the ostrich feather was a symbol for Maat, the goddess of truth and justice.

Ostriches possess formidable fighting capabilities, primarily centered on their extremely powerful legs and sharp claws, which they use to deliver potentially lethal forward kicks. While they prefer to escape danger using their incredible speed, they will fight viciously if cornered or protecting their nest.
